To help Forest View students realize their full potential & enhance the educational experience for staff & families through our “PRIDE” goals.
OUR GOALS:
Partner with educational staff and community to support student enrichment opportunities.
Objectives: Raise $35,000 to fund our PTA budget; provide educational and interactive events for all Forest View children such as Assemblies and Guest Speaker events.
Represent, advocate, and speak on behalf of all children.
Objectives: Send one (1) or more board members to attend and vote at Legislative Assembly, Everett PTSA Council meetings, and WSPTA Convention; budget to cover voting delegate expenses such as registration and meals; have at least one (1) FV representative at Focus Day.
Involve and encourage greater parental support.
Objectives: Increase active volunteer base; provide training for our volunteers; communicate clearly and regularly with both staff and parents.
Develop a sense of community and social responsibility among our Forest View community.
Objectives: provide events that foster supportive relationships with students of all abilities at Forest View; encourage humanitarian efforts by supporting the community with coin and clothing drives.
Enrich our community.
Objectives: Provide safe, fun, and educational activities throughout the school year; promote activities focused on STEM and the arts; encourage community support through sponsorship opportunities in our fundraisers and participation in our events; provide funding to support classroom enrichment efforts; provide opportunities for our students to learn about the cultures represented in our community at Multicultural Night.

We heard updates from our school principal (Miss Stoddard), discussed our PTA's plans and events for the school year, and let attendees know how you can help us be successful in making this school year great for our students and staff! We also introduced our new PTA Board of Directors, approved our 2026-2027 Goals and Standing Rules, reviewed the status of our Standards of Affiliation tracker, received a recap from our Annual Financial Review Committee, shared updates from the recent August Leadership Launch training event, and much more!
