Forest View PTA is always looking for ways to improve our outreach and inclusivity for the diverse populations of our students, families, and community members. This school year, our PTA is implementing a "Sensory Friendly" initiative, in which we are trying to create "sensory friendly" accommodations for our events.

In example, during our recent Costume Bingo family night event, we offered an area for "sensory friendly" children and families, which was a smaller venue away from the loud noises and big crowds of the main event area. Overall, we received positive feedback about the "sensory friendly" considerations, and our PTA will continue to look for ways to be inclusive at all of our events.
