Thank you to our Nominating Committee, who worked diligently to find nominees for election at our May Membership Meeting to our 2026-2027 Executive Committee! A PTA's Nominating Committee is its most important committee, so we appreciate all of the effort this committee did! Thank you to our Auction Planning Committee, without whom our Forest View PTA's first-ever online auction would not have been a success! It was a true team effort! Thank you, Preston Kallshian, for being our wonderful DJ for our Glow Dance on February 27! Your collection of fun vibes and cool beats was a major hit with our students and other attendees! We also express sincere appreciation and thanks to Ginny Andrzejewski and Tate Loftin for agreeing to be our PTA's Awards Committee this school year to help determine the latest volunteer recognition award recipients!

Thank you, EarthSong Long, for leading a "Healthy Living" presentation! We express our gratitude and thanks to our PTA Vice President, EarthSong Long, who led our latest "Healthy Living" parent education session on December 11! The topic of that session was Mindfulness & Stress Reduction, and EarthSong did a wonderful job presenting important resources, information, and tips to our attendees. Thank you, Fundraising and Programs Chairpersons! We express our gratitude and thanks to our Fundraising Co-Chairpersons, Micha Sakshaug and Tara Zerwekh, who led our annual Falcon Fun Run Fundraiser preparations and helped with its success, and who are regularly looking into different ways to help raise funds for our PTA and the programs it supports. We also express sincere appreciation and thanks to our Programs Chairperson, Pavitra Chakravarthy, who led the promotion of the Reflections Arts Program which led to an increase in student entries this year.

We express our gratitude and thanks to the Student Ambassadors team, who were very helpful with Frankie the Falcon duties to promote our Fun Run Fundraiser and other events. Special thanks to our School Counselor, Mrs. McNeal, for her assistance with coordinating between our PTA and Student Ambassadors.

Thank you, Annual Financial Review Committee! We recognize and express sincere gratitude for the Financial Review Committee who met earlier this week to conduct our PTA's Annual Financial Review. Thank you to Craig Willis, EarthSong Long, Denise Evensen, and Michelle Johnson for being our Financial Review Committee for this review; your work is so essential to determining fiscal improvement opportunities for our PTA. Results and observations from that committee will be presented at our General Membership Meeting on September 11. We hope you can attend - non-members allowed, too!
